Avoca Beach House

This house was designed by me about 15 years ago and is still one of my favourite designs.  The site was steep and called for a pole frame house with 2 pavilions to cater for an extended family, with the main part of the house to suit the owners and the 2nd wing to suit the grown up family with kids who occasionally visited.  It is situated in a leafy part of Avoca Beach NSW.  The style is modern and rustic with lots of expansive open spaces to suit a large family gathering and a few private nooks to escape to, such as the loft above the kitchen.
